Travel ArrangementsBy Car ...The main highways leading to Toulouse are the A61 from the east of Europe via Lyon, the Mediterranean coast and Montpellier or from the south via Barcelona, A64 from San Sebastian and the Pyrenees, A62 from Paris and Bordeaux. By Plane ...The airport of Toulouse-Blagnac is at about six miles from downtown. To reach the city, you can get the shuttle bus which can bring you to downtown in about twenty minutes. The price of a one-way ticket by the shuttle bus is 3.7 euros, a two-way one costs 5.6 euros and is available for two months. Stops of the shuttle bus are: Compans-Caffarelli (near the site of the conference), Jeanne d'Arc (between Compans-Caffarelli and the Matabiau train station), Jean Jaurès (near the very center and the subway -there is just one line-) and the Matabiau railway station. If you want you can also get a taxi to reach the city center,
the fare by taxi will cost about 22 euros.
