A Graphical Environment for GLADE

This paper presents a grahical environment for programming distributed applications by means of GLADE. This environment facilitates the configuration, execution and reconfiguration of Ada distributed applications. The environment frees the user from learning the GLADE configuration language, and keeps the state and the configuration of the system in a database for reconfiguration purposes. In oder to provide fault tolerance the database can be replicated; the failure is then automatically masked by the graphical environment.
