Abstract: | This tutorial presents the basic principles of
multi-tasking software design on a monoprocessor. It is
intended for those with little or no previous experience
designing with tasks. The tutorial will cover Ada 95
scheduling disciplines such as priority inheritance and
priority ceiling locking for protected objects. Attendees
will learn how to determine whether or not the tasks in a
given design can meet hard deadline timing requirements.
